WEEK 6 – Mental Calisthenics – Post 289

Not sure how to classify this week. It has been a mentalcomplete emotional roller coaster. Work has been very busy and on the home front lots of “fires” have had to be dealt with. This MKMMA program has actually been a grounding experience throughout the whirlwind of life. The more determined I am to make changes in life the more life fights back.

I love scroll two . . .

I will love the ambitious for they can inspire me;
I will love the failures for they can teach me.

I will love the kings for they are but human;
I will love the meek for they are divine.

I will love the rich for they are yet lonely;
I will love the poor for they are so many.

I will love the young for the faith they hold;
I will love the old for the wisdom they share.

I will love the beautiful for their eyes of sadness;
I will love the ugly for their souls of peace.

I love all the mental calisthenics we are doing.

I am w-a-y behind on blogging and really have not had the time to put more thought into this post.

Oh well, week 7 starts today and I am looking forward to getting back on schedule not only with this class but also with my business blog. I haven’t posted a vBlog since I got back from my business trip to Vegas in early Sept and I used to make 2 posts per week. I think I am going to make this weeks goal to get back on track with posting at least one vBlog on my business site weekly and to get last weeks “promise” done as well.

  1. This is an interesting post Keith. The Old is fighting hard against the New, right down to a chemical level. Today’s video (week 7) was/is a perfect answer to this challenge in my mind, in letting the Old sacrifice itself for it’s best friend, the New you.

  2. As I read your extract of Scroll 2 it occurs to me that there is no reason not to love everyone for they all contribute to the richness of our lives whether rich or poor, young or old, etc.
