How Many Funny Cat Videos Can You Watch – Post 319

Welcome to 2015 This is my first post for 2015 and I know it is going to be an absolutely spectacular, amazing year.

I have been spending the last few months working through Mark Janusewski’s Master Key Master Mind Alliance course and what I have learned about the power of our mind is just phenomenal. One of the 7 laws of the mind that we have spent a lot of time on is the Law of Substitution. The law of substitutions says that we cannot think about two things at the same time. As such anytime a negative thought enters your mind you are supposed to substitute it with something positive. So to help you to have a fantastic 2015 feed your mind with positive things.

Get the negative out.

Associate with positive people and positive activities.

  • Feed you mind good books. Guard you mind from trash reading.
  • Feed you mind with positive, up lifting audio that will give you inspiration to reach your goals. Guard it against dark, negative music and audio programming that will get you nothing except lost time.
  • Feed your mind with good, uplifting, positive video. Guard yourself from trash TV or online content that distracts from what you want to accomplish.

Folks, you can fill your entire new year with funny cat videos but that’s not going to take you where you want to go.

Spend more time with positive, quality people and activities.

Make that your determination.
Make that you intention.
Make that your objective.
Make that your goal.

Commit to it and do it. Forget resolutions get busy with positive and make no time for the negative.

As the late Jim Rohn always said, “REMEMBER THE SAME WIND BLOWS ON ALL OF US ITS THE SET OF YOUR SAIL THAT DECIDES YOUR COURSE!!” Set your sail for success today by learning the skills for success. Week 12 – A Fast Food Type Experience – NOT – Post 314

Here we are in week 12 of the Master Key Master Mind program and it just seems things are happening so fast. It’s a bit overwhelming. At times I find myself getting impatient with the entire process. I just want the changes to happen.

We live in a time when everyone wants everything fast. We want our food now. If we want to learn something new we expect the internet to give us the answers now. We want that magic pill to help us lose weight now. We want a way to get rich quick. We go to seminars to get motivated only to be right back where we were within a few days. We don’t really want to take the time to actually learn what is needed. We don’t want to do the things that are necessary to get from here to there.

I’m a pharmacist. It took 5 years of college to gain the knowledge necessary to become skilled enough to become licensed. A medical doctor takes eight or more. CPA’s take at least four years. Master plumbers and carpenters go through extensive apprenticeships to become skilled experts in their fields as well.

I realize it is going to take time to make lasting changes in my life. After all it took me fifty plus years to get where I am today. Yes, I have a lot of reprogramming to do, especially from everything that happened these past few years but a twenty six week course is not really that long in the greater scheme of things.

I want to share with you a short video from Tony Robbins that I found actually encouraged me somewhat about this process. Yes, this video is an advertisement for his coaching but it really did help me put another perspective on what we are doing. With the repetitive way we are learning and the hands on tools, the group experience we are gaining from our peer’s blog posts and alliances, and the personal coaching from our certified guides this has truly been a total immersion.

WEEK 8.5 – Post 294

Well, it has been a bit since I have posted. I have had family from all over start arrivingturkeyday at my house this past Thursday. It is a tradition on my side of the family to hold Thanksgiving celebration on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. This year all my siblings and my parents came into town for the event. We all have not managed to be together for many years. Most of the family actually stayed in my house so needless to say it has been quite hectic.

The original plan was that most would arrive late Friday night or early Saturday morning but everyone except my brothers family actually showed up at various times throughout the day on Thursday. And believe it or not having them all here early was really nice.

You might expect with so much pressure having so many people in your house that it would be difficult to keep up the mental diet but it has been much easier since they all arrived than it was prior to their arrival. We have all had a very good time with not one single mishap the entire time. The stress levels have actually been much lower.

I would not be honest if I said I kept up with my readings 100% but I have managed to do so most days. Unfortunately I have not had a chance to even start on Week 9. Most of my family has now returned to their home states with the exception of my parents. They will be leaving early Friday morning. We won’t be seeing them on Thanksgiving. They will be getting together at my Aunts on my Mom’s side of the family. We will be hosting Thanksgiving Day this year at our house with my wife’s side of the family so things will continue to be busy around here through Saturday.

On Monday my oldest son leaves for basic training with the Navy so it looks like Sunday will be busy spending some last minute time with him. He will be in the Chicago area for 2 – 3 months of basic and then off to California for 2 years of training before spending another 4 years on active duty.

It looks like with all the activity for the next few more days I will not be able to give Week 9 any solid attention until Saturday evening and then I will probably catch up with Week 10 on Tuesday and then back to normal after that.

My Network Marketing business has also suffered from neglect with all this activity occurring so I am also looking forward to getting back with it next week as well. My wife has been really encouraging me to get back with it. She has seen that the checks continue to come in without too much change even though I have not been able to spend much time on it and she now realizes that this business is for real and she now sees the potential it has if I work a little harder at it. Just wish I had the time and resources to be doing the go90grow class right now. Hopefully another one will be offered in the spring. I would like to join in along with some of my team.

Happy Holidays for now. I will se you all with my full attention next week.
